Teaser Tuesdays – Undermajordomo Minor (Dec 29)

teasertuesdays2014eTeaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here are my teasers for this week:

undermajordomo minorThe Count attempted to speak but his words were unintelligible. He repeated them, but only the Countess could understand, and she translated:

“He wonders where his teeth went.”

From page 261 of Undermajordomo Minor by Patrick deWitt.

  1. “Drop the ball in the palm of the top hand down; throw the ball in the lower hand up.” From Juggling by Charlie Holland. I thought juggling would be a handy skill to have in the tool bag.
