Here are my teasers for this week:

The New York Times refers to ours as a “genealogy-crazed era.” Surprisingly genealogy stories involving celebrities make headlines: Barack Obama and Sarah Palin are distant cousins; Emma Watson, star of the Harry Potter movies, is related to an actual sixteenth-century witch; a white supremacist learns – on a television talk show – that he is 14 percent black.
